Explain functionality of Fevered Dreams + Hypochondria to me
Fevered Dreams - (10...22 seconds.) Foes in the area also have any new conditions that target foe acquires. Inflicts Dazed on target foe (1...3 seconds) if that foe has two or more conditions.
Hypochondria - Transfer all conditions from foes in the area to target foe.
The thing I can't figure out is that FD seems to be only partially spreading the condis in no predictable way. See screenshots below. Am I missing something obvious?

"Take note of the wording: Fevered Dreams does not trigger just because a condition is applied (or re-applied) to the foe. Here, "new condition" literally means a condition that the foe is not currently suffering from."

The target with FD has no condis on it before the hypochondria, so all the condis transferred to it are new condis. That doesn't explain its unpredictable spread.

Would it be more likely it's an animation glitch?

It's totally not worth using because it actually reduces the amount of condition pressure output on the opposition. If Hypochondria were to actually reapply existing conditions on the target, THEN would it be somewhat viable as now you'd be able to re-spread conditions using Fevered Dreams, and the neighboring hex spell Fragility would be able to inflict additional damage onto that target is Hypochondria is utilized immediately after Dreams + Fragility. As it behaves currently, Hypochondria is worthless.
That's just my $0.02...

It's not an animation glitch. This was another screenshot in the series, notice that the new target is adjacent to the FD'd target, and has no condis on target bar.

...I know it was totally bugged in the Mesmer update beta. If I had to guess, I'd say they were trying to remove some exploits from it by jostling around the order in which the functions are processed and "Procs" trigger eachother. IoW: Kimmes screwing over anyone who tries to make it ACT like an elite through PvE gimmicks when everyone knows that the only reason to use anything in PvE is B/C there's gimmicks available to it... for example: Panic + Wastrel's Clumping or Mindwrack & Overload before they were immediately nerfed again...
Think of it this way: There used to be a "bug" (or feature, depending on how you look at it) where casting Fragility + Fevered + Mark of Rodgort on targets & then putting up a Greater Conflagration and some Bone Fiends -- would result in fragility spiking & AoE burning everytime the fiends shot something ...did it matter one bit that it was still inferior to Searing Flames + Barbs? ...nope, but Anet nerfed it anyway b/c some programmers just hate Spaghetti code that gives anyone else an advantage... If they don't know about it, it shouldn't exist. Programmers are dicks like that.
